    Foil Pressed Wedding Invitation FAQs

Below you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our foil pressed wedding invitations, including how the invitations are hand-pressed, customisation options, and paper choices.

Each invitation is pressed by hand using traditional foil pressing techniques. Heat and pressure are applied to press metallic foil into the paper, creating crisp, debossed foil details that add a luxurious, tactile finish.

Foil can be used across smaller stationery items such as save the dates, invitations, RSVP cards, details cards, menus, order of service, and extra touches like monograms on envelopes. They cannot be used for name cards, as each one requires individual personalisation, or for large-format items such as signage.

We offer a range of foil colours including classic gold, silver, and rose gold. There are hundreds of options available, including coloured matte foils. If you have a specific foil colour in mind, please get in touch and we can advise on the best match for your design.

Foil pressed invitations work best on our premium, thick standard cardstock, carefully chosen to showcase the beautiful detail of the hand-debossed foil. Handmade paper is also a popular option, adding texture and an artisanal feel that complements the recessed foil beautifully.
